Darren is Generac Grid Service’s first employee and has been an integral team member. With 20 years of experience in the energy industry, his project management and utility program experience, combined with his proficiency in industrial and building processes allow him to maximize the benefits of the company’s solutions for customers.

Today, Darren oversees the network operations center and the platform support teams to ensure the success of utility programs and energy markets participation. Darren is a Professional Engineer with Engineers and Geoscientists BC and holds an MBA in Management of Technology from Simon Fraser University, and a Bachelor of Applied Sciences in Computer Engineering from the University of British Columbia. When not busy with work, he can be found exploring new hiking trails, trying out new restaurants or testing new home automation technologies.
