Andy leads the product management team in defining the roadmap and vision for Generac Grid Services software products. Andy has over 15 years of experience in clean technology, specializing in grid service solutions to enable more distributed energy resources (DERs) to connect to the electrical grid. He’s modeled the interactions of DERs with the electrical grid to inform market operations as a Systems Analyst, advocated for changes in wholesale energy market regulations to increase participation of DERs as the Manager of Regulatory Affairs, and now Andy leads a team of Product Managers to deliver grid service solutions that provide monetary and sustainability value to customers. In addition, Andy is passionate about positively impacting the environment and people’s lives. When he’s not working, Andy enjoys the great outdoors by skiing, mountain biking, surfing, and spending time with his family, who keep him grounded and motivated.
