Doug leads Generac Grid Services’ sales and business development initiatives in the Western region of North America, where he forges partnerships with leading utilities and builds and manages key strategic industry alliances and channel relationships. For over 20 years, Doug has focused on enterprise software sales at the intersection of energy, information, and analytics, primarily in demand-side management. Prior to joining Generac Grid Services, Doug served in sales and business development leadership roles at renewable energy, smart grid, and environmental commodities firms, Envision Digital, Sunverge Energy, SAS Institute, Opower, and Thomson Reuters. Doug holds an MBA in Environmental Finance from Columbia Business School and a BA in History from Colorado College. When not working to save the world one VPP at a time, Doug enjoys hiking, cycling, and chasing his daughters down the slopes of Cascade volcanos.
